Dear Exhibitor:

 

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who came to the 6th annual Rusty Pistons Tractor & Power Equipment Show.  We hope that you are planning to return for the 7th annual show on April 25, 26, & 27 2008.  We are always trying to create the best possible experience for our exhibitors & for the general public. There are a few changes to our Policies & Procedures, that will be in effect for the 2008 Show:  We ask that you become familiar with these so that everyone will be on the same page.

 

1.       To qualify as a tractor exhibitor, a tractor must at least 47 years old or older; it should be restored or to some extent restored and in running condition.

 

2.      All tractors will be subject to the inspector upon arrival and before registration.

 

3.      All tractors will be registered under one name. All tractor exhibitors will get 2 exhibitor passes.  Any additional people will be charged admission.

 

4.      After registering the tractor(s), all tractors must be put in line in the Tractor Area.

 

5.      There will be no operation of tractors during show hours except for those participating in the Parade of Power each day.

 

6.     If you are bringing your tractor for the sole purpose to sell, you must report your intentions at the Equipment gate.  An area has been set aside for “For Sale” equipment. You will need to pay for your selling site and fill out the necessary paperwork. Special “For Sale “ signs will be issued, & must be displayed on the tractor. The charge will be daily admission.

 

7.      Weather Permitting, Tractors may be unloaded on the right side of the show grounds prior to start of Show. After Show begins, all unloading of tractors will take place at the trailer parking area just beyond the equipment  entrance.

 

8.    Tractors to be sold at the auction and tractors purchased at the auction will not be registered as an exhibit.

 

9.    Persons under the age of 16 will not be permitted to drive a tractor unless accompanied by a licensed adult.

 

10.  Due to our Insurance Regulations, the owner of the tractor must be in attendance while the tractor is running and moving.

 

11.   All owners of tractors must be knowledgeable in the proper and safe operations of the tractor.

 

12.   All gasoline or other fuels must be kept in approved containers.

 

13.   Do not refuel tractor engines while running or while hot.

 

14.   No tractor shall be operated by any person under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants (including controlled substances and prescription drugs.)  No alcoholic beverages, controlled substances, abusive language, fighting, obscene or X-rated materials or firearms will be tolerated on the Show grounds.

 

15.    Tractor exhibitors who are handicapped and require the usage of a golf cart will be allowed to use them. To use them,  they will need proof of liability insurance with minimum limits of $65,000, and driver’s license. Certain areas will be off limits to golf carts. Signs will be posted at these areas.  . Those exhibitors bringing lawn tractors for riding purposes only and not for exhibiting purposes may ride from 6 am to 9 am and after 4:30pm each day of Show. Insurance regulations will not allow the use of Gators or other similar type utility vehicles.

 

16.   Maximum allowable speed for all vehicles on the show grounds is 5 MPH.

 

17.  Security will be provided at all times during the Rusty Pistons Tractor Show & Festival.

 

18.   A lawn mower that is 30 years old or older, in original condition, or restored, and in running condition will be considered as an exhibit.

 

19.   All lawn mowers will be subject to the inspectors upon arrival and before registration.

 

20.  All lawn mowers, if approved as an exhibit, will be registered under one name.  A lawn mower exhibitor will get 2 exhibitor passes.  Any additional people will be charged admission.

 

21.   After registering the lawn mower(s), the lawn mower(s) will be placed in the lawn mower exhibiting area.

 

22.  Trailers used for the exhibition of  stationary engines, implements,  etc. will be allowed in the  show area. All other trailers must be placed in the trailer parking area.

 

23. All mounted equipment must be lowered to the ground or otherwise properly secured when parked. All mower cutter bars must be covered.

 

24.  All lawn mower exhibitors must adhere to rest of the rules written here.

 

25.  Quiet time is from 11 pm to 6 am.

 

26. We would like to encourage as many of you as possible to stay on the last day of the show. There are still people coming to the Show. We provide you an opportunity to display your tractor; the only courtesy we ask is that you stay the last day, so that the people coming to the Show can see your tractor(s) and lawn mower(s).

 

27.  No tractors or lawn mowers may be operational  on Sunday, April 27 from 9 am to  11 am.

 

       All exhibitors are cautioned to be on the lookout for unsafe conditions at our show and take appropriate steps to correct them. If you are unable to correct the situation by yourself, or are unsure of what course of action to take, notify a staff member immediately. With your help we can have another safe & great show
